Recently, i started doing animated gif's on my computer & I'm absolutely addicted now! But i was hoping for a bit of advice! When i save my more detailed ones, i find that the file size can be huge! Does anyone have any advice on how to make them smaller, without taking out any of the frames? I use photoshop to construct them

You could probably talk to UncleAdam about it.....I know he's been playing with animation recently.

yeah, he made it through a demo at moviegear.com....he made me one too, but it won't work :'(

Would you believe there's all the info you need in the Photoshop manual.. I did mine in that program. It's all to do with 'optimizing' for the web. Keep it small and have a ball!

PS. If you can't get on with the manual try searching google for 'animated gifs' I came across some sites that told you how to go on in a more simplified way. 🙂

i already do that, 64 is the lowest i can have them b4 they start looking rubbish !
