"The Anabelle Cheong (spelling?) Story" is an almost interesting, if rather tragic, documentary about her willingness to set the record, how it then ruined her life - e.g. nervous wait for HIV test results, disowned from family once news got back to her homeland, and yes she did get paid nothing = (s)exploitation.
The real low point of all though seemed to be be where she turned up to the attempt to break her record, and stormed away when this was duly done (by a better looking, but equally misguided rival). After everything, this is when she realises it was all for nothing.
I wonder what she's doing now.
