Did you hear that a group of hackers called Anonymous are planning to hack Facebook on Nov 5th?
Some say it is a hoax.

Anywa, FB apparently does not respect the privacy of the subscribers. Also it uses facial recognition software to "tag" people from upload photos... Germany has warned FB against this.

Nov 5, is Guy Fawkes day,
Guy Fawkes mask.icon is what Anonymous uses
Guy Fawkes attempted to blow up the British House of Lords building with gunpowder. But an anonymous letter received on Nov 5 1605 by the authorities enabled the authorities to stop him.
I guess it symbolizes freedom from an oppressive government.

See the movie V for Vendetta which uses the same mask symbol
