The morons who run this state need to learn (and nothing teaches a lesson like hitting them in the pocketbook) how to run a state government. This is why I'm against "states' rights"... I live in Arizona, the federal government does everything better than the fools in our legislature can do it. I wish they'd get on with the business of running this state properly instead of pulling stupid crap like SB 1070.
The sad thing is that so many people here support the governmental shenanigans.
We just passed (by a 2 to 1 margin) a state constitutional amendment to raise the sales tax 1 cent to pay for education and law enforcement because our legislature took the easy way out instead of raising taxes to pay for these things. One more step in the slippery slope to move to a republican backed attempt to replace income taxes with sales taxes and move the tax burden from businesses and the rich to the poor.
God I hate my state government.
