As everyone is aware, there are many players on here who are very skilled, and who have played some games from which patzers such as myself, and millions of other amateurs seeking to strengthen their game, could learn. I have a question and a suggestion. What, from a chess perspective, do everyone consider to be their best games? I would suggest looking hard, for there are probably several hundred very high-quality games lurking among the quarter-million or so here. Maybe an annotated anthology would be a good source of funds for RHP (although I imagine a fair bit of work).

I pick one with Islanddoc, who regretfully has left the site. We had planned to analyse it together, but it didn't happen in the end. It is a Najdorf Sicilian, and we continuously exchanged our point of view and our sources during the game. I must have spent a hundred hours on this game, it was full of tactics (given the opening theory and top-level master games available). Here is the game n° : 86326
