Usually Mary or Matilda. She's a computer-generated voice, recorded by a Dutch lady with impeccable British-English. Sometimes her pronunciations crack us up, but mostly she's pretty good with place names.

Since when has it been hyphenated?

That was just put there to separate the letters. I'd spell h - y - p - h - e - n - a - t - e - d in the same way.

manly, very manly

I want my GPS to sound like Sean Connery. What's up with the lack of choice? Same with Seri.

Does anyone else make their GPS use the computer voice? We have quite a range of choice, but only the computer voice tells us the street names. The others are just plain bossy - do this, do that, tell us nothing.
