Oh I can imagine you all having conversation over dinner. 'Erm would you care to stay on topic please?' How would the conversation flow freely? Would you all have to stay on the same topic and avoid tangents at all cost?. Would there be an agenda of discussion perhaps so you could change topic now and then or would you just talk about the same thing allll night again and again?
