I'm debating whether to get tickets to their upcoming Toronto show in September. I haven't heard any of their new material and I'm wondering if it will be different than their last two full-length albums (which I enjoyed). The Di Do EP was not so great in my eyes and if their new stuff is more like those recordings, I will most likely skip it. Anyone seen them live recently and can tell me what their new stuff is like?

This is probably a long shot considering the lot of you are tasteless scumwads, but hey, I thought I'd try anyway...

The only stuff of theirs i have listened to is (), which i didn't like. was considering seeing them in Manchester anyway, but didn't bother in the end. not much help i know, but unless their recent stuff is a lot better, i'd spend my money elsewhere.

I visited Iceland last October and was blown away by the beauty of that country. I after awhile I got a strong sensation that I had time travelled to the future - that barren, absolutely beautiful dramatic nature, their standard of living, their calm, friendly and stoic demeanor, their beautiful language, their clever way of living in harmony with nature, their technological superiority ... everything.

Well, listen to Sigur Ros' Staraflur and get that mental glimpse of the post apocalyptic world with much less people ... No noise, no agitation, no conflict ... It will be such a heavenly place ...

Anyway, I'd advise for every hardnosed, neurotic, arrogant and stressed out american to visit that country. Learn what it means to be human ... or just by Sigur Ros CD and kick back and relax ...
