I would have thought most chessplayers would have been into classical music (could well be a stereotype), however it seems there is quite a large classic rock fan base from previous threads. Just wondering if there were any techno fans out there?
My personal favourites are : Plastikman / Black Dog / Autechre / 2 Dollar Egg / Damon Wild / Oxia / Funk D'Void / Drexciya

Some really good ones there. I would offer Brainbug "Nightmare" as a good one. It was a major crossover track into the Meta/goth clubs too for some reason (when if first came out).
Some would work well in a Techno set, especially Faithless and Olive, but none are what I describe as techno tracks.
The only one I cannot stand in that set is ATB "9pm (till i come)".
