It's a Flemish card game played with four players (two teams) 32 cards (7 through A).
J of trump is high and then the 9 of trump an otherwise is A down.
J of trump = 20 points
9 of trump = 14 points
A = 11 points
K = 3 points
Q = 2 points
J (other than trump) = 1 point
10 = 10 points
9 (other than trump) = 0 points
8 & 7 = 0 points
total of 141 points in deck
All the cards are dealt and then the bidding begins.
First bidder must bid at least 50 or some multiple of 10 above that. Each player then bids in turn going up by some multiple of 10 or passing. Once a player has passed they can no longer bid that hand. Higest bidder goes first and the first card he plays becomes the trump suit.
There is a lot more to it, but I was just curious if anybody else played it.

I'd rather play Killer Bunnies 🙂
Originally posted by SuzianneIt's not dull I can assure you. Although many people do find it confusing for quite some time. If you have trump you may trump at any time that it is your turn even if you have the particular offsuit that is being played. Otherwise you must follow if you can. There is one card that you do not necesarily have to follow suit with is the J of trump.
