My wife is the graphics guru of the family, I do the music recording on another computer. So we have a dell dimension 8250 with a 2.4GHZ cpu and 512meg sdram, but am having trouble printing some photos she edited with print shop. The printer is an HP 3310 and I downloaded new drivers for it just in case that was the problem, it wasn't. One thing I notice, when I hit properties on an image in the print shop gallery, an image might be, say, 18 megs. But when I hit print, instead of the horizontal bar going across quickly like it should, it sits there and hardly moves for a coupld of minutes. Then when I hit the printer Que, it says now that 18 meg file all of a sudden is 275 megs. WTF? And when I hit print, the printer chugs a couple of times like normal but then just does not print. Other things in that same program print fine, just some photos are bonkers. I used the install disk to re-install the prog to no avail. I did at one time get a low virtual memory message, and it probably can use a memory upgrade to one gig but can anyone help with this no print problem?

You could try increasing the page file

If you have it set for system control[or whatever the wording is] already it could mean you are low on disk space. Are you?

Have plenty of HD space. Why would the file size increase so much?

What file type is the document (.pdf, .png, .jpg, .gif, etc...)?
What DPI is the image?
