I keep getting "a .DLL file was not found" 😠 I managed to download a bug last night so it screwed up my puter a bit. 😳

i had that aswell, have you d/l .NET??

if so, make a new folder on your desktop and move the zipped version of rhplive into the new folder and open it again and it should unzip, then you can play.

well that worked for me.

David,

What operating system are you running on your computer? Windows 98, xp, or .....?

I tried to set up with it yesterday, but I'm still running 98se, and I couldn't get it to work. Now I'm wondering if .net framework only works with newer operating systems.

It might be useful for all the members if we can find out what operating systems are being used by those of you who successfully get it up and working.

It's working okay for me on XP Pro SP1. Not perfectly though - have difficulty in using it...I'm finding it a little clunky and unresponsive: closing the program seems impossible for me! Good fun though playing quickly :o)

I think I have it up and running. I tried to connect to your game, LL, but didn't respond.

I have a game up now with me as host, and it says 'listening'.

So, anyone else who is ready, let's try it!!

I see your game but I only have a few minutes so I can't accept. Sorry.

RUSS- Windows 98 can take .NET 🙂

Got it working with Win98 (desktop) and Windows 2000 pro (laptop).

Can see Marc's game offer and also set up myself as host (temporarily).

I think what I will do is add a page to this site that shows all games awaiting an opponent. That way, you can have a quick look without even firing up RHPLive.
