Astonomy Picture Of the Day, this image for today shows fresh water running down the wall of a crater. Nice thing about this image is if you can cross your eyes and bring the two images together, the center image will be in 3D. I have learned how to lock onto those kind of images and extract the 3D-ness in them if they are taken from two differant perspectives like these two photo's. the link:

That would have worked much better with an exclamation mark instead of the question mark. You don't get a gold star. 😞

I wonder if you actuaqlly looked at the photo. You would have to be totally jaded not to be impressed, especially if you saw it in 3_D.
It's quite striking. The jutting rocks stand out like you are in a helicopter flying overhead and the ridge drops off behind and goes back up, its a great set of photos.

Alas, I have not yet mastered the lost art of squinting cross-eyed at astrology pictures. 😞

Astrology. Pictures. Ok. Well why don't you just look at the "astrology pictures" and don't try to bend you mind too far out of shape, just look at the two side by side in old fashioned 2D, see where the recent water flow happened. That shouldn't tax you abilities too much.
BTW, if anyone is actually interested, this site address is the general APOD address, you need to go to archives at the bottom of the screen and click on that then look at the list, the image I am talking about is labled 'recent water flow on mars' and the date is 12 dec. 2006.
