all you need to do is eat 232 chicken and vegetable gyoza at one sitting, and you can become a world record holder. you have until 21 august to expand your stomach sufficiently for the task (assuming you need to). AND, if you eat more than anyone else at the event, you win $1000 (which you might need for medical attention).

Any idea how many pounds that is? There is a show called "Man vs. Food" and seems every big meal challenge he takes it is 5 pounds of food.

based on some Chinese pork dumplings bought at a local supermarket:

packet of 12 = 550g = 45.83g per dumpling

so, total weight for 232 would be 232 * 45.83g = 10633.3g = 10.63kg = 23.39lb

even if the gyoza each weigh half as much as one of these dumplings, that's still 11.7lb
