Honestly, to get back on topic, I don't really like Arrakis. He is very judgemental and hypocritical. It's nothing personal, its the way he is (I hope...), but it really depends on wether you think it's important or not to have a one-smilie-per-post quota to meet.

It's all a matter of perspective. What comes across as aggression and vitriol is often only meant to be hard sarcasm and poignant put downs by the poster. The difference is often discernably undetectable by other unaffected forumae viewers.

Whether people like or dislike Arrakis is beside the point. If you do, good for you, if you don't, take it up with him privately. A while ago, Russ pointed out that 'calling out' style threads were wrong and the sooner this one is deleted the better.
