Good Ladies and Gents from across the Pond in the UK - I recently happened upon a wonderful ( I thought anyway ) movie called Fever Pitch starring Colin Firth. It was made in 1997. It was a film about a fellow who was a fan of the UK football (soccer to me) team Arsenal.
Has anyone seen this movie?
Are the facts around the team as presented true?
I loved the movie a lot, and being a Red Sox fan, felt a certain affinity for this characters love a team.
I think this was a story written by a guy called Mick or Nick Hornby and about his experiences growing up as an Arsenal fan, I believe most of this portrayed in the movie is based upon fact about himself and the Arsenal team.
I have never seen the film or read the book but my friend is a huge Arsenal fan and he has told me a lot about it.
You may ask one of the Red Hot Gooners clan, a clan for Arsenal supporters. They might have more correct info.

Yes, its a true story about the football, Arsenal beat Liverpool 2-0 to win the title in the last game of the season.
