He was a true visionary.

It's hard to choose a favourite among all his great work, but for me the Rama quadrilogy stands out as the most amazing story he wrote.

I loved the first Rama book, but I have to admit the next few kind of lost hold on me. Are they worth completing?

My favourite work of his was "The fountains of Paradise", although this may be because it was the first book of his I read.

It is a shame in one way, but in another way it is a good thing - we got an extra point in a quiz this week by recognising a picture of him and I dont think I would have known what he looked like if it wasnt for him dying
