... At a Glance

The Rise and Fall of Nations/Human History At a Glance:

1. Authority without freedom always results in devasting tyranny.

2. Freedom without authority always results in devasting anarchy.

3. Principled leadership and maxium standards of citizen integrity

perpetuate the quality of life and prosperity of a national entity.

4. Once great civilizations have been rotting from the inside out for

decades and now live in the evanescent twilight of their own decline.

5. Principled leadership has been supplanted by empty promises of

popularist appeal, standards of citizen integrity by situational ethics.

6. Historical trends have always been and still are solidly predictive.

Superficial focus make us blind. We are living on borrowed time.

7. This generation, especially, has had its senses dulled... by its own

hypersensitivity to peer pressure and the herd instinct to be cool.

Discovering and assimilating truth (of any category) was never easy, Pal. Why? Because learning requires unlearning

and letting go is generally painful. Want proof that it's often difficult for smart people to let a new thought through?

Next time you're in the bathroom take a real close look at that washboard creased forehead in the vanity mirror.
