Arrakis does have super powers of a sort with his doughy mass. Picture a door needing to be knocked down. (Granted it would have to be a very large door!) But if he gets that massive planetoid body of his moving in one direction all at the same time- nothing's going to stop it. The door's coming down. Hell, he could probably stop and absorb a city bus with his arse crack.
Robin certainly brought less to the table than this for Batman.
