I can understand kids, but why do adults ask for autographs too?

What are you going to do with it? By showing it to your friends does it make you feel cool? Do they think you are cool if you have an autograph?

it depends on what it's written on. as an adult i've only gotten one and it's on my snooker cue....it was already a rare cue, that thing is going to be worth a mint in about 20 years time.

Agreed. For the most part, autographs are stupid. I have a couple autographed books, though. I think that's sort of nice.

so it's for monetary reasons....you're hoping the object you get the autograph on will rise in value. Ok fair enough.


But what about people that just get one on a piece of paper?

stalkers get knickers and bits of toe-nail, much better than a crappy signature. i guess thats how the slippery slide to becoming a stalker starts. all a bunch of mental celeb worshipers if you ask me.
