    i don't see how to add an avatar here, can someone let me know how to do this, i've added them to other sites but, i just can't see how to do it here any help is most appreciated thanks

    Click on "my profile" then it's the far right button of the three named "profile images". On that page you can select an avatar (square) and a profile image (portrait aspect).

    On the "update profile" page you can also type in a profile description of yourself and a couple of little forum text names/location which some people use.
