to me I prefer to take the high road rather than stoop to your level

I have lost plenty of times, and i always learn a little more about the
game, I realise I dont know very much about the technical terms
used, but then, I havent been playing long, that is why I lose.
Sometimes I win. I thought I could learn this game and have fun
playing it with people I like. I have played people from the top twenty
list, and am currently playing bettyboo. I know I will lose. I dont

To everyone reading this; don't be fooled by this pervert. "babe" is a
guy who loves the fantasy of pretending to be a woman and seeking
the romantic inclinations of men. "babe" uses a chess-playing
program to obtain a high rating so as to stand out from the crowd and
get attention.
How do I know this? It is simple; I am an over-the-board, rated,
national master and know what it takes to get the kind of results
that "babe" is getting. To play at that level you need one of two
things: a) A sound theoretical grounding in the game involving
substantial opening knowledge, middle-game strategic conceptual
knowledge, endgame knowledge, solid tactical awareness and
competence. OR b) a chess-playing program. Babe doesn't have
enough chess knowledge to be a convincing "c" class player let alone
someone with the kind of stats that HE has.
As for the issue of gender, it doesn't take a Dr. Zukher to see
that "babe" could not possibly a woman. "babe" never loses an
opportunity to say something of a sexual or gender-related nature
even apparantly trading pictures with other players (how hard would it
be to scan in some picture of a woman and claim to be that person).
It is reminiscent of the transvestite that oversdoes the "girl-act" so as
to get the maximum amount of attention.
Hitherto I wanted to play this person because of the high rating, but
that has changed. I am not interested in playing with sicko's and
perverts. I am here to play chess and to chat about chess and other
cultural areas with intelligent people. I have been fortunate enough to
meet some players who fit the bill.

competitive chess. I have followed the careers of the Pogar sisters
(especially Judit) since they started playing tournaments. I am also on
the executive of our local chess club and have personally solicited
memberships from several female competitors.

I would've posted this earlier but after being bored and having a good

Having to deal with yet another incidence of sexual harrassment I feel
I must defend myself. I wasnt going to. I am not stevens, he is my
separated husband. We enjoy a friendly rivalry at chess. He taught
me to play. As the only person I had ever played chess with till
august of this year, apart from my chess champion son. We, probably
play similar types of games. It is true I do not know the names of a
whole list of technical chess terms. Is that a requirement? I have not
exchanged pics with other players here on the site. Only with chat
friends. and real live friends who play on here and who know me. I
have been online for nine months, and have exchanged pics of my
daily life with some on here for that period. very difficult to keep up
with using computer technology for someone like me, who has
difficulty understanding anything practical about computers. I am not
a sexual pervert, I did not play xenophobe because i got a bad
feeling when he challenged me to three games at the same time. and
I checked with people who had played him and they said he was
arrogant. I play for fun and relaxation, and because I love it. I am
not sure why I have had to defend myself today. Possibly I didnt.

that something should be done. What happened to the forum that it
can now be used for slander, sexual and racial harrassment by
mentally disturbed people. I thought it was somewhere to come to
