"Baby Mini Rolls" is allegedly an anagram of "Bill Bryson". But there is an R in Baby Mini Rolls but no R in Bill Bryson.

    ABBIILLMNRSY baby mini rolls
    BBILLNORSY bill bryson

Baby Mini Rolls has A and M which don't appear in Bill Bryson
Baby Mini Rolls doesn't have an O which appears in Bill Bryson

anagram fail on THREE levels - FOUR if you count your erroneous statement about the Rs. 🙂

My statement about the Rs may have had some minor weaknesses, but broadly speaking I stand by it. My mind was operating at the 'fourth level', as you correctly pointed out. Not everyone can keep up with the ideas flying around at such a high level.

One hesitates to say that they would make a better job of it than the present incumbent, but one will say it anyway.

It's a bit like playing 9 card Brag sir and making 3 hands from what you've been dealt. So with 'Try with croissants' for example you could group together 'chair' 'wrists' and 'snotty.'

As a child, I frequently had 'snotty chair wrists.' 😞

The American alphabet is not the same as the British alphabet. There are subtle differences.
