Baby talk

General

{wikipedia}

Baby talk and imitations of it may be used by one noninfant to another as a form of verbal abuse, in which the talk is intended to infantilize the victim. This can occur during bullying, when the bully uses baby talk to assert that the victim is weak, cowardly, overemotional, or otherwise submissive.

Yes, whatever happened to this creature...I do know she took a law degree upon her return to the UK, but I've no idea subsequent to her qualifying...no doubt another wast of taxpayers money as where on earth could she practise without great mobs protesting outside her place of employment...

Not a clue. Quite sad, quite sad. What would it be like in her shoes? Divine punishment to subsequent generations or genetically impaired? Doubt we'll ever know.

And now that a long time has passed, and Louise Woodward's life has taken a completely different path than what she would have expected, the prosecution's star medical witness has completely changed his view. In a scientific paper he states: "The science we have today could, in fact, have exonerated Louise. There is certainly, in retrospect, reasonable doubt."

Now we are raising a generation of children who spend more time with paid minders than with the people who brought them into the world. Is this any better child-rearing than the "latchkey children" of my youth?
