You see it on TV sometimes, and hear it on radio...

"I love this product, you should really try it Bob"!

'It was great, Carrol! I'm telling ALL my friends about (blah blah blah)'.

They sound like they're reading a script, and didn't practice. Everything is forced.

Is this done on purpose to make us listen more?

There is a mesmerizing one on my radio. It's a guy who does basement pumps.

He pauses at all the wrong places, but it's so thought provoking I turn the radio up and read along with him.
