@torunn saidI don't know if you're aware of this or not, but you're one of the more liked posters on this site. Your random musings are usually a treat to read. So don't worry about it; post on.
I don't think this thread was a hit, so we can keep it open for any responses, if any. π
@torunn saidI have (among other things) Borderline Personality Disorder. Which means I live in a black and white world. No gray areas. So I hear people say "That's a gray area" I'm like, no such thing. It's either right or wrong, etc

Thank you, very kind of you. I know of some habits of mine that annoy my friends at times. For example, I often form an opinion very quickly, I'm a black-and-white sort of person, no grey zones. π

@gambrel saidI too don't see the gray area either far as I am concerned it is either right or wrong. My best friend and I have had a lot of conversations about this, he can see the gray areas. Unfortunately he passed in 2015.

Perhaps I have Borderline Personality Disorder and just haven't been diagnosed?

@gambrel saidGray is just a mixture of black and white pixels. π

@great-big-stees saidIf people enjoy your humming then that would be a good thing, if not you may have to watch that. π
I’ve been told that I hum a lot. Hmmmmm.π€π€

@kewpie saidPart of my cultural adaptation here in Indonesia, three decades ago, involved reining in my I Don't Suffer Fools Gladly inclination and, for obvious reasons, replacing it with an Up For Anything & Willing to Learn inclination.
An employer once told me my biggest fault was that I don't suffer fools gladly. Does anyone?
My adaptation was starting to kick in when I realized that, in many situations, people around me here were reining in their Don't Suffer Fools Gladly inclinations with me.
I think suffering fools gladly can be a useful lubricant.
@torunn saidStarting a thread with an interesting title and then removing the opening post—keeping us all on edge for two hours—very bad habit, Torunn. π
