Banned in 1961 due to "racial stereotypes"

This cartoon was my favourite cartoon when I was little boy (I had it on VHS), I searched for it today only to learn that was banned from the television almost 50 years ago due to racism.

What is your opinion ?

Agreed... I think so to. Elmer Fudd is more stupid than this fellow, which is very funny... But who knows..
