would just like to voice my disappointment the decision to ban user A Winner from the site, ive played the guy over 50 times and never had a problem with him, his only crime was to have multiple accounts, which were created after there was a problem accessing his first account. okay he shouldnt have created two new ones, but i happen to know hes not the most computer literate person in the world and was unaware of the consequences of his actions and how they could be percieved as cheating.
he was a fully paid up member and has given his hard earned cash to support the site and has been active in spreading the good word and getting several new members to join.
it seems to me a full ban is way to harsh, a warning to clarify what he was doing was wrong would have been enough, or at worse a month or two ban and a probation period would be enough.
it all seems a bit harsh.

Paying Russ money to use the site doesn't give you a green light to intentionally break the rules. Trust me, it was no innocent accident.
i know he was messing about on the forums with the multiple accounts, but that was mainly a reaction to the shoddy customer service he got from the site, after sending them an email asking them not to renew his subscripion automatically - they went ahead and did it anyway. i know that multiple accounts is wrong but if nothing really bad has happened it makes a life ban seems unfair, i seem to remember other users being banned and making returns, so is there different levels of punishment depending on who you are?
Originally posted by stellspalfieI've asked for my sub not to be renewed twice, and both times it was stopped until i renewed it myself. I have no big telephone to the admins, and no reason to be treated special....how can my experience be so different to your friends?

You'd be far better off using the Send Feedback option to raise the issue directly with the site administrators.
Originally posted by trev33he had his first a winner acount for 2 years, then created 2 more when he had problems using a winner, after he was banned i think hes tried 2 new ones, both have been stopped. his actions come mainly from not really understanding the does and donts of web use. i feel an e-mail educating rather than punishing would have helped him a great deal. but hey-ho, looks like the zero-tolerance police are out in force...
so how many accounts did a winnar have?
Originally posted by PhlabibitI wasn't talking about the admins misusing power, and if no accusations have ever come up of a misuse of power than why were them game mods disbanded and all of that complete mess I have read so much about?
Admins have never banned a user on "misuse of power' to my knowledge, and have never accused any user of such a thing.
P-
I think that is a fair question.
