Bargain Holidays from the UK

I often hear of people who say they've been away for a week in the sun, half board, 4 star hotel - all inclusive for £99 or less! But has anyone actually managed to get this sort of deal and if so how?

The wife has been trawling through lots of 'bargain last minute holiday' websites and can quite easily find some really great deals... until she clicks on 'book this holiday' then all the extras appear (transfers, insurance, plane means, airport tax etc) and before you know it £99 has turned into £199+ !

I'd really like some cheap winter sun.

You can try my friend's approach.3 years back,in january,he told everyone he was off to spain for 2 weeks.Which we found rather odd,'cause we know he can't afford it.We later found out he had spent those 2 weeks in his cellar.LOL
He did have a nice tan though! 😵
