Baron Again, Three loses, fell to third Positon

Yes, I dont know what happen to him but were move timeout, even
though his positions werent confortables ones.

This doesnt mean he is not a great player, but everyone here can be
beated, and I feel a little sad.

It appears the Baron is in free fall at this point. I expect to see his
stock drop dramatically with all the upcoming time-outs looming. Has
he made a move recently??

He decided to time out our game after calling me a cheating a-hole.
He wanted to know what computer program he was losing to!

I thanked him for the backhanded compliment and informed him that
I was not using any chess playing program whatsoever, that all moves
were my own. To this date (and the Baron probably did not know this)
I have not lost a game with the white pieces here. On the other hand,
my defense is quite suspect, to say the least!

Now I'm wondering if the Baron will fall back into the ranks or through
them? Time will tell. Shell we watch?.. 😉

Personally, I think the Baron nickname has died, and has been reborn as another nickname here.
Another nick that recently showed up with a similar style of bravado. But I am a suspicious fellow.

I wonder who he has reincarnated to! I have my suspicions.

Well, my guess has been that the Baron and Attilla are one in the
same. The swaggering strides, thrust out chests, and smartypants
comments seem similar to me. But then - how many ways are there to
be brazenly overconfident in an internet chess site forum? Mind you,
I'm perfectly happy if they are the same person, and perfectly happy
if they are different people.

Either way, from the little we've seen so far, I have hopes that
Attilachess will bring as many hours o' fun and foment to the forums
as Baron has!! ;}

I would like that baron be back here, no matter his nick, I like strong
players in this site, but he should learn that nobody is unbeatable,
even Kasparov have been beaten many times. SO whats the problem
losing a game, from someone who plays good, and maybe spend
more time analizing his game?.

Here you dont have to be too expert, you have a board, a chess and
time to view all variants and choose what you appreciate best, if one
doesnt like you, then change it.

Baron if you come with other nick later or sooner you will be beaten
again.

You are right, very difficult to beat with you white (and black as well!).
Although I have the feeling I came very close to a win with the black
pieces in our game. But close doesn't count, does it? It were great
games in any case 🙂
