I am Baron of Chess, It has been brought to my attention that some members might be unhappy with my fast(?) start. I assure you that I am a real player and I have good credentials. I have 2500+ ratings at at least 4 other chess sites including USChessLive. In the past few weeks a few of us heavies, joined this site when it was brought to our attention that it was frendlier than another e-mail site used world-wide. We decided to try it out. We are all (I think) retired Masters and 1 above IM Ranking. We are friendly and polite. We aren't perfect (see game#314160) which I am playing now. Just consider us passing through, maybe we will stay. Your site has been visited by a few 2600+ players within the past year, so the word is out there. Keep it a nice site, with nice players who play killer chess!

Thank you "Flexmore" for your nice welcome to Red Hot Pawn. This is "Baron of Chess", I would like to thank the site members who have been so gracious to me. I am in contact with other ones who have joined as I have to see what all the talk is about. We were informed that this is a friendly site welcomes all equally (we will see). I hope we may bring competition to those in the top 50 rankings, yet we do play occasional games with those on the way up also. We are a nice, polite collection of unusual chess-playing addicts who can't quite give it up all at once. I was a terror in the mid70s through the early90s.
