The guy's a great hitter. Whatever team picks him up is adding a pretty clutch bat to their line-up. Honestly though, I have no idea why Shea wasn't a part of the regular line-up. When he did play, he always showed up and came through with some clutch at-bast. There must be more to this story then we're hearing.

Originally posted by darvlayThe guy is a jerk in the locker room, thinks the whole world should bow down to him and figures just cause he can hit the ball 3 times outta 10 that people owe him something. No one on the team likes him, the manager hates him and hasn't spoken to him in over 2 months. He pisses everyone in the organization off and then wonders why no one wants to talk to him about his kid when he gets back from his vacation. Then he flips out like all pre-madonnas do when they're told they're not playing.

The guy is about as popular on that team as I am on this site! 😵
Edit: hopefully the Jays will get a decent shortstop/2nd baseman for him and toss wobbley arm Adams back down to Single A.

The Cat is totally killer. But my favourite player right now has to be Reed Johnson. .360 average, .445 OBP, and is leading the league in HBP for the second straight year. That's a damn good lead-off hitter!
If the Jays trade hillenjerk for a 2nd basemen/shortstop, they could then rotate Johnson, Cat, and Rios through the DH spot so we'd have all those bats in the lineup each game.
EDIT: maybe with Adams outta the lineup too then the Jays might be able to manage the 7 runs per game they need to win each night with this horrible pitching staff Riccardi might as well have just put on the SS Minnow with best wishes.
