That's what's for dinner tonight.

I was at the store this morning perusing the onions and thought I would try a Vidalia. Is there really a difference in taste, I've never really payed much attention to onion varieties.

Does the Vidalia taste much different?

First dinner is at 5:00. Second dinner is at 8:00.

you don't have to wait til dinner to try it. just eat it like an apple.

I don't know about that. It has a strong odor, not sure eating if raw would be a good idea.

vidalia onions have a sweeter flavor than other onions. it's flavor is more delicate and lends itself to being eaten by itself, or lightly saute with peppers, mushrooms and butter on top of a nice NY strip steak.

also makes a great onion ring
