Why not pick the best 11 players, and then choose the captain from them?

To be fair watching the slow motion reply the ball did move slightly from the spot when he put his other foot down.

No it didn't

Beckham hit the ground prior to hitting the ball, making the ball move slightly ... (If the ball would have moved, the penalty would have been repeated)

Secondly, why is it that such a great player, who could hit a fly with a ball in 20 metres distance have to shoot with so much aggression and so little talent (and my god he is good at passing ??)

Tonight has been a whole load of shite to me (although Portugal to be fair did play better, neverthless didn't want to see my boys coming home)

Sure it did, at the end of his run up his other foot landed heavy on the ground, causing the ground and ball to move slightly.

Anyway it was a better way to lose than to do it like we did against the french. What a rollercoaster ride................

I have. Just wait and keep watching the Dutch team, they have a player who does it all the time. He claims corner kicks that end up as goal kicks for the opposing team before the ball reaches any of the other players in the field, and free kicks that go wide more than an American teenager's jeans. The whole Dutch population knows this in advance, yet no-one in the Dutch team ever shows the guts to tell him to get lost and let someone who actually has some talent take the kick.

Unfortunately, this disease (his total and utter incompetence; we're better off playing 10 against 11; in fact, we should loan him to the opposing team DURING the game. He's the kiss of death for any team) is contageous, and by the time the Dutch team have to take penalty kicks, everyone will suffer from this so-called Seedorf Syndrome, and miss more terribly than Beckham ever will.

Oh come now...
Missing penalties is the least of the man's worries.

Have you seen the tatoo on the back of his neck?? What's that all about?
Or did you hear about him wearing the Adolph Eichman t-shirt and not knowing who it was?

Man...

I couldn't work out whether the tattoo was the nazi eagle or maybe the egyptian winged sun thingy.
What was the thing about the t-shirt?
Where on earth do you buy t-shirts with Adolf Eichman on?πŸ˜•
