As a lifelong resident of Dallas, I will nominate my town. Here are the good things about Big D: friendly and helpful people, best looking women in the United States, mild winters, no earthquakes, cheapest housing prices in a major U.S. city, great Mexican food, good economy, Dallas Cowboys, metro-area is home to seven universities, expansive community college system, no state income tax, Fort Worth only 35 miles away.

Negatives: hot summers, droughts, too many illegal immigrants, rush-hour traffic jams, crappy FM radio, bad public schools, high property taxes, divisive special interest groups, weak mayor.

Avoid California at all costs.

Edinburgh- it's not too big to feel lost in, not too small to get bored of, and is great in general anyway!

i suspect all muncipalities are poorly run. but i've been impressed by mayor bloomberg's management skills, which of course, should be well honed given he is a self-made billionaire and CEO of the company bearing his name. i an more optimistic on nyc's prospects and reject the colorful ramblings of the above poster

Atlanta is pretty nice
As long as you stay outside of the perimeter housing is cheap. not too overpopulated. the only downside is traffic in the mornings

Thanks everyone for your input, I guess Washington DC is out of the picture cause that is the only city no one recremended in this forum 😛

Im thinking either AL, FL, TX, or AZ though With AZ being in the lead because its the closest to where I live now, and because I dont know if I can stand the heat from FL and TX with me being a WY native

Taking Arizona over the two choices in Florida is like getting out of a sauna and into a pizza oven. I think you should consider more than the weather. All your choices except Stuart are fairly big cities. That's the bigger decision...
