Age of Empires.

Nothing like playing a 3 v 3 team game online with your frat brothers. Just you and your bros against the world (i.e. an 11-year-old from Singapore). Best part was once you lost the whole map became visible.

"Oh, I'm out? Let me just call up my bro downstairs and tell him where everything's at."

Hell, one time we won by helping our only surviving teammate hide his final peon, while our massively powerful opponent ran all over the map for 4 hours looking for him. Finally, our opponent resigned in frustration.
