We haven't had a 'who's your favorite poster and why?' thread in some time, so here's one . . . with a small twist.
Who is your favorite poster in each forum and why?
I'll abstain from voting in the forums I don't tend to read.
I only visit five forums regularly:
Chess I nominate paultopia, for his tremendous activity in that forum
Help and Site Ideas Russ and Chrismo, for attending to our requests and concerns
General Phlabibit, for many reasons. I might add that his generous hosting of other people's avatars is a contribution to all the forums.
Clans rwingett, for one-of-a-kind goading and CAP (I am a monoclanist).
Debates I'm not touching this one with a ten-foot pole.

I nominate Cribs for everything. He is by far the most original poster to grace this site in some time. His slyly evolving online persona has been masterfully crafted. It has become abundantly apparent that there is much more to Cribs than we were originally led to believe. He has conducted himself with an intriguing blend of outrageous theatrics and deep insight. His posts have been uniformly entertaining and enlightening. Cribs is my favorite poster by a wide margin.
My nomination is for bbar. He has an argument style about him that he doesn't leave any stone unturned but yet you can sit and be social with him when you order drinks from the bar😉 Imho, he knows when and where to argue and also, knows when to let the the discussion/argument drop. Imo, he is the perfect debater.
This may come as a shock, but I will nominate RBHill. You may ask why. He deserves special recognition for many of the same reasons that rwingett nominated Cribs. It takes special effort to write in the way he does so that it leaves all readers feeling inferior as they have no idea what in the world he means. 🙂
