I'll admit that when I first found out i was livid and flung my feces around wherever I could (mostly because my posts kept getting deleted) but that was a while ago. If you look at the huge JW thread in the Tournaments forum, you'll see that most of the comments do not belong to me. Things have snowballed on their own without my meddling. I just don't want to play him in the Tournament. I didn't even start this thread!
Look lad, like I said, I don't have a problem with people expecting action be taken against cheaters. I'm with you on that, 100%!!! However, in just about every damn forum theres a thread about JW here, and THAT's a load of bull! If someone had a problem with me, I would expect them to take it up with me and Russ, that's all. Now, I can appreciate that ...[text shortened]... n, I think everyone gets the idea, so let's quit playing the victim and move on with life.
Originally posted by darvlayPlease my friend. don't misunderstand me. I know this, and my comments are not directed at you. My point is simply that I don't blame JW for getting a little livid here. Even if he is in the wrong in regards to cheating (and I must admit I find myself agreeing with that contention in light of what has been presented), I find it understandable that he is getting upset. I just put myself in his shoes, and I find myself thinking that even if I was a fraud I would think my beratement severe.

I know you're kept it down lately, and I'm not saying that I agree with this thread being pointed at you necessarily. I will say that I disagree with your petition thread, but I also do not fault your intent. I think this whole matter could have been dealt with a lot better and more respectfully, but that really doesn't matter now. The important point I suppose is that your anit-JW petition thread is unnecessary, as is this anti-Darvlay thread. Neither one accomplishes anything and both foster ill-will towards their recepient.
Please do not take my criticism personally. I know you to be a good natured person who has the best intent. This I know from my personal experiences with you, and as such it is to your credit gaining my respect. I do hope you will understand what I am saying here though, and take it as constructive criticism. You are welcome to disagree with me, but I want it known that I am tired of this soap opera and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I state this not just to hear myself complain, but so that the well intending people like yourself might understand. Let us be at peace my friend.
Best Regards,
Omnislash 🙂

And just for the record, I don't mind being called evil. 🙂

Originally posted by OmnislashHmmm.... I have followed your posts Omni and in the main tend to agree with your line. However, the fault lies with Russ/ RHP admin et al in not taking action against JW for some obvious violations of the TOS, by not suspending him and his obvious multi accounts immediately. Simple enough.

Putting the responsibility into a "sheriffs warrant" scenario is just a cop out, in my opinion. Russ has had all the evidence, no little thanks to GreyEyes, but still seems unable to make a decision. I'm seriously flamuxed about all this this reticence. I just do not know. I just do not know. It's all a little sad from my perspective.

Slower than stringing them up on the public gallows, but better than lynch mob tactics.

What´s sad is the number of people who, once general opinion had isolated JW, jumped on the bandwagon to kick him some more. Just shows that people are naturally bullies. I don´t approve of thieves but I don´t agree with publicly flogging them either.
