I recently received a special offer E-mail form tiscali in my Tiscli inbox, despite asking them two months ago to stop spamming me. At the time I was on the 19.99 a month package, for which I got a !mb unlimited(within reason) connection. The new offer they were advertising offered 1 Mb bandwidth unlimited plus free anytime local and national calls from the BT landline. I thought 'that might save me a few quid'. So I upgraded to the new package. Next thing I know, I have received a confirmation of bank details letter from them. This has sent alrm bells ringing in my head. Why do they want permission to take money out of my account when they have been doing so for the last 18 months. Is there a hidden cost here that they are not letting on about. Anyway, I decided to try and change the tariff back to the newly introduced 15.99 for 1Mb unlimited, no phones involved offer, but it won't have it. If I try to upgrade/downgrade online, the only options it will give me involve phone offers. Why can't the irritating B%^&&^$£s let me live in peace. I have already had enough S*** off them to last me for infinite lifetimes.
Can anyone tell me about this dual broadband and phone offer, because Toscli sure as hell can't.

Not that it's particularly relevant to your Tiscali plight, but I just thought I'd mention it!
