Still in the relegation zone, still a couple of points off the pack and Santa Cruz hinting at leaving. Quite a long way to go yet!
Still, most of the fixtures in January are against teams in the lower half of the table so it could be a good month for Big Sam to grab a few more points and build up a bit more confidence.
