is there anyone else out there who is into blue food? i use blue food colouring in just about everything i cook - curries, risotto, whatever. pale sky blue rice, darker blue mushrooms, shrimp, whatever...mmmm
i gave a blue dinner party the other day. everyone wore blue, we ate blue food off blue plates and bowls, and of course Coltrane's Blue Train was playing on the stereo, followed by some blues. people looked a little apprehensive when confronted with the delicate blue chicken broth i had prepared to start the meal with, but after trying it everyone said it was delicious.

Being able to withstand the cold, wet conditions is an essential part of being a Scotsman. For women, of course, it's traditional all over the UK to go out on a winter's night wearing very little.
