Rolling Stone's most recent issue has an absolutely great article on Bo Diddley that those who love classic rock would really enjoy, if you're interested. For those who don't know who Bo Diddley is, he is one of the pioneers of rock, and in many's opinion one of the greatest guitarist that ever lived, only his name for some reason has never been associaed with other legends of his time. He had a direct influence on almost ALL artists that took part in the British Invasion in the 60s (including the Rolling Stones and, yes, The Beatles), and even today you can hear his influence in new garage bands like The White Stripes. The article is very insightful for those who have never heard of Bo Diddley but love 50s and 60s rock, and is a great read for anyone lucky enough to already know how much Bo meant to music.
