I agree. I listen to it often.

The way he uses familiar themes like "when the levee breaks" or "someday baby" to make them fresh and useful in today's world is envious.

Dylan is one o my favourite artists. I love all his early stuff, but i have to say he has turned out a load of sh;t as well! I haven't heard his new album, has he dropped the religious thing yet?

His last few albums have been excellent. As a real fan, you would probably know this though.

..you are a fool...i don't care too much what religion you might choose to set your paradigm but to slap at religion shows that you are an idiot...i started listening to dylan in 1966 when i was serving in the army to put up a wall in germany against the godless empire of the
soviet communists ( did you know that brehnev's widow placed the Holy Bible on brehnev's chest before they closed the casket on him )...anyway...you who live for the flesh...(what fools it only dessicates ) and forget the Eternal ( i am a 6th degree Rosicrucian so

My point was simply that his music is better when he avoids religous themes. When he approached religion in his music the melody and overall structure suffered. It became more burdensome to listen to and it wasn't because of the lyrics.

I don't mind religous themes in lyrics at all.

I certainly didn't mean to offend but since I did I apologize.
