Maybe if i can read the actual "game" part of the book, i can start to understand future tactic books a bit better. i only have Game six at home, and i've got the link to game 13 here, i think.

I did feel sorry for poor old Boris though, by rights he should've just walked away with the title. . .no questions asked.
I was a kid when all it all took place but it got us all playing chess and raised lots of awareness and excitment for the game.
I enjoyed this thread a lot (not that I'm going to read a book.. ugh) but I checked for more of the story and found the result of the rematch twenty years later http://www.mark-weeks.com/chess/92fs$mix.htm Fischer won again (perhaps wearing a star trek suit and Spock ears.)
