Bodily function thread

General

I have questions like this: You are taking a whiz and you fart. Then your stream jumps. Why is that?

Anyone else have their own bodily function question, post them here.

It's all kind of interlinked down there. It gets kind of complex. Maybe your fart presses on your prostate which interrupts your flow. Or maybe, more simply, when you engage your bowel muscles to break wind it presses on the bladder. Or maybe it is something to do with your diaphragm.

Shouldn't this be in the science forum?

Further to this medical break through, please disregard all my previous comments on this subject. Also please note that the world is not flat!
