Has anyone else heard of this site, registered or even come across a book with a 'freebook' sticker on...It's a nice idea...

no im not stalking you * looks innocent*. my friend said that he once found one on a train, but he got bored of it so didnt register it or anything. i'd love to find one, how cool would it be to know that the book you're reading has been read by 100's of other people all over the world!

If you go on the website you can find out if there are any 'in the wild' near where you live

oh oh oh oh...there was one near where im going, but that was 7 days ago, maybe its still there, im going to have to go and look now!

Is this something like Where'sgeorge.com? Where you put the serial number in, stamp the dollar and anyone who gets it after you can go on the site and track where it's been?

Maybe...I've never heard of where's george .com..I suppose with books theres more point to it as you get to read them 🙂

Yep. My wife does a lot of bookcrossing swaps.

We also geocache, and bookcrossing books are common cache swag.
