Has anyone else heard of this site, registered or even come across a book with a 'freebook' sticker on...It's a nice idea...

Theres quite a few around Manchester..I might see if I can spot any while I'm xmas shopping tomorrow...

Is this something like Where'sgeorge.com? Where you put the serial number in, stamp the dollar and anyone who gets it after you can go on the site and track where it's been?

Yep. My wife does a lot of bookcrossing swaps.

We also geocache, and bookcrossing books are common cache swag.
