I read an article 2 days ago that states that in South Africa today it's cheaper to buy an AK-47 (about $20) than a book (average price $25 - $30). And now the government wants to know why so many people are emigrating?

Well, I have a lot of books but luckily I haven't needed an assault rifle in my line of work πŸ˜›

Hmmm, with all the corruption here, anything is possible in South Africa ...

Perhaps you should buy the gun. Then you can steal the books. πŸ˜€
Bad joke, I know. 😞

That's the way it is here, the irony does not escape...
Nowadays it seems that there's just no more 'control' in SA, to many promises by politicians but no-one's delivering.

But hey, I'm not dissin' my country - this is a great place to live - there's just a few things that's the wrong way around.

We also have lions and elephants that roam in the streets.

Have you ever been outside Europe Olav?
I went to England to visit my brother in England 2 years ago.
Went to Wales to watch South Afria play the Barbarians (rugby) at Millenium stadium, had a great time. Cardiff is a brilliant place to party.

My brother's boss said he'd organize me and my buddies work in security, because apparently over the festive season there's alot of work around that time of year. We ended up doing a month working at Burger King πŸ™‚

Then I went to the Netherlands and Germany to visit the family.
Great country...

lol. if you think thats bad the RPG-7 is cheaper than an AK-47

but thats not the worst of it.

using nothing but household items, it is possible to make anti tank weaponary including landmines, cannons and rocket lauchers capable of taking out heavy armor at up to 500m
-home made destruction-
