Boris Spassky is the godfather of the chess club where my husband, Gilbert Sintubin is playing. Since this year is the 50th anniversary of the club, Boris Spassky himself came over to play a simultaneous game against the best players of the club. Gilbert was one of them. Boris Spassky played against 18 members. He won 14 games and played a draw in 4 games. Gilbert was one of them.
Here you can find some pictures of this game.

Which one is your husband? What did he think of Spassky?

In the groups photo in Chess Base, the third person on the right standing next to boris Spassky is my husband.
Our impression of Boris Spassky is that he is amicable an very witty. He has a big personality and still playing a mean game! 😀

I like Spassky. Your husband is fortunate to have had the chance to play him (and to draw, no less).
