Someone asked a Red Sox (Francona or Schilling?) during an interview, 'Do you think it is fair that the Red Sox have home advantage being the wild card over the Cardinals who were the best team in baseball'?
They guy said, 'Well, do you think it is fair that Angels had home field advantage over us... when we had a better record over the year? We don't make the rules, and if they change the rules we'll play by those rules'.
I think he should have said... 'Us Sox had to play the Yankees 18 times over the season. If we didn't have to do that perhaps we could have gotten 112 wins'!
Just cuz the Cards had 105 wins in the season does not a 'best team' make!!!

I heard something pretty funny on the Bob and Tom radio show on the way in to work today.
One of the comedians said that Boston's celebratory parade would be from third base to home plate. Just to show St. Louis it could be done... Laugh out loud funny! 😉
