Its a sad day in Wisconsin. Favre is the only QB I've ever seen play for the Packers.

Screw the formalities, put him in the hall of fame now. The guy was the most exciting Quarterback I have ever seen. There is more coming behind him but not the way he did it. My Cowboy hat goes off to Brett Favre. He kept fans of football on the edge of their seats no matter what team you supported. A real Class act. He was the ultimate team leader.

Some of his performance were like from a hollwood football movie.

Check out the press conference he held today if you missed it - very genuine and emotional. I think it was a fitting way to end a career as great as his.

The NFL is somehow a bit diminished without him in it. So many players these days don't seem to be having fun playing this game. Watching him play this year he still had the same boyhood fun playing that he did when he started playing. I think the NFL sometimes lacks that.
